For over three decades, Michael, President and Founder of GDI, has been a driving force in Austin’s entrepreneurial landscape. Specializing in high-stakes real estate investments and urban development, he has earned a reputation for transforming complex acquisitions and start-up operations into premier, large-scale successes. From the stewardship of historic downtown landmarks like Speakeasy to the strategic management of high-value development sites, his leadership defines GDI’s commitment to shaping the future of the downtown Austin Texas market.
Caitlyn joined the GDI team in 2010 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the GDI office.
Kevin has 10 years of experience ranging from owning and operating his own restaurant to bar and nightclub management. With vast experience in bar management during events and festivals he looks forward to being an asset to the GDI brand.
Leslie is a results-driven sales and events professional at Speakeasy with extensive experience in venue management, client relations, and producing high-impact events. She specializes in building strong partnerships, driving revenue growth, and creating seamless guest experiences from concept to execution.
Landon Meiteen is the Venue Coordinator and In-House Promoter at Speakeasy Austin, specializing in nightlife, private events, and elevated guest experiences in downtown Austin. With a background in hospitality and entertainment, he leads event planning, promotions, and social media strategy to create personalized and unforgettable events.
Michael oversees live audio production, stage operations, and technical coordination to ensure every performance runs smoothly and sounds professional. He also manages front-of-house mixing, monitor systems, and lighting integration.
